So our last homestay of the year has left us and is heading back to Nippon right now...I feel sad sometimes when our kids grow up and leave our home, even tho they only stay for a couple of months we have great relationships (well not THAT great *wink-wink*).

They call us host mom and host dad...Jeezzz that makes us sound so old...the next homestay we'll them them to call Daddy-O and Sugar Mama...we'll see the faces on their teachers...

I found out a buddy at YS, his GF teaches english at a ESL place in downtown and she use to teach one of our homestays...She couldn't beleive that we were host parents...We feel like we're more like host brothers or sisters.

Oh well, after 10 months in Canada she's gonna head back to Japan and gonna meet up w/her bf...I don't hafta be too blunt now do I?

We have this Japanese slang book and one of our students was laughing and I said what's so funny? He said "Wet Pussy"...I"m like oh don't say that too often cos it's not a good word....so he goes off and tells his teacher he had learnt that word from me.
