Well I made my charitable donation of the year...Yes I had my pockets picked last night.

I knew I had my wallet with me cos I paid groceries that day. I had about a hundred bucks in my pocket for Christmas shopping and for groceries.

So I was at my grandma's and that was when I recieved a phone call that someone had found my wallet in the ally somewhere in Chinatown, and he would like to meet me somewhere to give my wallet back.

I asked him what he looks like and he said "Oh you'll never miss me, I have long hair and a trench coat and I'm on a bike." He said he'll meet me a Chinatown at 7pm at night to give my wallet back.

I asked my sister's boy friend to come down w/me...I wasn't afraid of him cos I know I could take care of myself but he might just be w/someonese I might not be aware of.

So he gave my wallet back all it had were my bank cards and couple of credit cards...My IDs were stolen and my medical cards were gone...

So when I got back home I had to call all the credit companies to check my statments and cancel all my cards...Man that is such a fucken hassel. Guess what...those freaking banks do have their hands in your pockets all the time....If loosing your money and wallet is not bad enough they had to charge you $20 to change your account and send you a new card. Thanks Bank Of Montreal for charging me...That's just great not only I lost $100 bucks I hafta pay the banks $20 out of my own account.

Bank of Montreal SUCKS they are worst than fucken bums who stole my wallet!!

I think the best service I got from calling all the credit card companies is "CIBC" they gave me a ton of info on what to do when someone steals your wallet...

Do you know how you lost your wallet? Were you in Chinatown that day?

Why did you agree to pay that 20 bucks?! I would have just closed my account and open another one (probably will choose another bank too!) I would put up with those "hassles" than paying more money to the stupid bank.

How did the person who returned your wallet look like? Was he a "bum" from the downtown eastside too?

It was picked...cos we were in Chinatown eating...that was when I took off my jacket my wife saw a bum type of person sitting behind me.

I had to pay the 20 bucks cos they said said that my checking acount has a 200 over draft...even if i close my account that over draft would still take in effect.

So I opned another account w/o that fricken overdraft.

He was a bum type, but I'm not the type to prejudge anyone...who know there might be legit ppl out there that are nice.

I can totally agree that BMO sucks ive been with BMO now for 6 months and although I have never over-drafted or even took out a loan or done anything except put my money in the bank they still hold my cheques. Just recently I deposited a cheque and they told me there was a six day hold on it because it was a diferent branch that I was with. So I decided to open an account with this new branch and they told me there would be no holds on my accounts or any of my money well ive now had this account for 9 months. and they continue to hold my money I deposited a cheque two fridays ago and I received my fallowing paycheque today and the money from my last on is still not in. I already complained to the bank but they keep telling me that because I deposite through the ABM it takes 3-5 days to deposite into my account well its been 15 working days and still no money.
