In Canada it's great! Pregnant women have support groups here so that if they have any questions about pregnancy they can call a hot line or meet up in a meeting and have any questions answered.

But you know what we need? We need are support groups for men dealing with pregnant women or just women here. Why? Cos us men just don't get it.

I'm not gonna get into great detail but I'm sure you married men know what I'm talking about.

If you think you don't understand them now...wait til you have kids...it's more confusing than ever after you have kids esp right after pregnancy.

Well sleep is no longer needed when you have a baby at home...When will it get better?

Oh yeah Brenden is home...he's been home for six days and it feels like forever...The waking up in the middle of the nights...The cries...why is he crying? We already fed him and changed his diaper...

But he's soo cute we just love him it's all good...But I'm just tired...I'm glad I took three weeks off...I'll need two to recover.

Well my dboating team is heading off to Kelowna to race their final race of the season.

I really miss dboating, I really wanted to retire from dboating after the season ends this year, but our baby boy had to come out early so I had to retire early.

BB is out of his Incubator now and is under alot of towels and clothing...

Brenden is doing well he is gaining about 1 oz a day...we're measuring him like steak...haha.. In this picture he is 1.6kg or about 3lbs 6oz


Apparently I’m not posting enuff baby pics on my blog. I’ve been requested to post more baby pics on my blog…I’ve always thought ppl are sick of seeing of other ppl’s baby but I guess ours is extra cute! Hahaha..

One of the nurse said to me, "He's a cutie" I said to her, "You say that to all the babies don't cha?"

She responded, "Believe me some babies are cuter than others."

It was like she's been asked that question before and that's her standard answer, cos I asked the same question to a different nurse and she said the same thing. haha...maybe I should throw them off by asking another question like "Sooo what do you say to babies who are not cute?"

Guess What we got a package the other day and it was from Japan, and to our surprise it was a baby gift from one of our Homestays....She gave Brenden a couple of those Kitty eating Domokuns!!!

Wife and baby are still in the hospital right now and are recovering fine. Baby Brenden is starting to drink milk now.

The things people don't tell you after birth that a man should know...Now I've confirmed this with the nurses and doctors...They get emotional, very emotional after birth.

I wasn't ready for that...I was thinking well after the birth I can head back to work...Boy I was wrong...Now I know what the meaning of support is...

I told this to my budy and he said "Yup it just goes down hill from here..."

I that's what I was told about marriage...but I guess once you hit rock bottom there is always hell to look forward to...haha

This morning at 2:45am the wife and I gave birth via C-Section to a
Premature baby boy. 2lbs 11oz.

We were expecting to have the baby last Saturday, but after some tests
the doctors suggested to wait. Monday morning the wife was not feeling
to well, so the doctors tried to induced labour that night after a
day 1/2 of induced labour the baby was not too happy, so this morning
we had a c-section...

Becuase of such an unexpected early birth the name will be TBA.

The baby is 2months early due to my wife's medical condition.

I'll be posting up pics on my blog soon...I'm just a bit tired right
now after a couple hrs of sleep.

I'm totally against privatazation.

It's not cos our deparment has been privatized, it's cos it's all profits before people.

I'm glad the doctors, nurses and cleaners are not privatized in the Vancouver Women's hospital.

The food in the hospital sucks, and when I mean sucks I mean it's worse than airplane food, and food that has been cooked in China.

The nurses told us that the food was good before, until they got privatized.

The first day I was at the hospital I went to the Hospital Caff to see what they have there. I thought man the food here looks like shit!

I'm like, I hope my wife doesn't get fed this shit...Yup she does...I mean I rather have TV dinners than this food...The Eggs were like sponge, the salad was brown, the meat was grean, the tater tots tasted like they were microwaved.

The nurse sent us a dietian from the caff, and they were writing us up a meal plan. He told us that his sister is giving birth soon too. I asked him if she was staying at this hosptial. He said no..she's staying at another hospital.

Great this is the type of food that their own ppl would not feed their own family but to strangers.

I'm brining food for the wife, I don't want her to get sick from the fricken hospital food.

So I found out that my 95 yr old grandmom went to the hospital also cos she fell and sprained her wrist or hand.

Here we go again another rush of bad luck comin again?

My wife got moved to a private room in the Woman's Hospital...WOW pretty nice there they have a bath and shower room, sink, TV, Internet, an automatic bed and they feed you.

The room is much nicer than some of the hotels I've stayed at in Asia.

So I took my wife hunting for babies, and we found them...we looked in the room where they have all the babies and we stood and watched the nurses taking care of the Premie babies.

They were all so cute and tiny.

We're at 29 weeks 3 days and counting...

As most of you guys know my wife is having a baby, but we 're having some problems right now.

My wife and I are having some baby problems right now.

Our baby might need to come out earlier than expected, about 2 1/2months early.

My wife has a condition called Preeclampsia and basically the baby is not getting enough blood due to high blood pressure. Normally my wife is a very healthy person and this high blood pressure was caused by the pregnancy.

Right now all she can do is rest 13-18 hours a day. There is a nurse is at our place who will be monitoring her everyday and if she needs to go to the hospital I will be notified.

Please keep us in mind and pray if you believe in God.

That's it nothing funny about this post....sorry.

I was sitting on the shitter taking a look at the huge toilet paper dispenser, and on top of it I saw something stick out....

What's with Chinese ppl and toilet paper. It's like there is an obsesion with Chinese people and toliet paper. When ever there is a sale on toilet paper there whould be alot of little Chinese old ppl with bags and bags of toilet paper.

My grandmom had a huge obsesion with toilet paper, her garage was packed with toliet paper and she still would go and buy more.

I asked her why don't she finnish up the toilet paper first before she buys any more...she tells me it's on special, the kitty brand paper is good if it only cost 25 cents a roll.

Sigh...I'll bring her a huge roll for her for Christmas.

Well came back from Whistler on Sunday, I think I'm still recovering.

Our group is known on drawin on ppl's faces when they're wasted. I 've always thought, "How can anyone be that drunk and not feel the pen marks on the face?" Well I got wasted and had my face painted.

I can't believe that happened to me. I guess first they test my face out first my putting a freezie on my face and see if I wake up.

Well last weeks biggest Dragon boating event was a great success.

I was coming in the competion thinking well here we go again...no medals just races...We came in top 20th team out of 172 teams.

Not too bad...even better we got Silver in our Division.

RGL United 2:07.640. Never have our team ever went to Comp level when I first joined the team.

We even surprised our coach, never in all my years of paddling I've enjoyed it more than this year for Alcan.

It was a great feeling on what we've have accomplished, a true unity of the whole team not just as a team but a group of friends who are when happy become...well very sure with their Sexuality.

My wife was commenting on the guys who were pretty well drunk in the Beer Garden after the races, and the guys just started to grab each other, in the breast and ass and sometimes in the crotch.

That right we're Ridiculously Good Looking...Not Raging Gay Lovers!

Not writing about my wife...I really dunno what to write about...

Brain fart...well the dragonboat comp is coming up this weekend...very stoked about it...

World cup the Brits had lifted the celebisy(sp?) ban for their team so they can have sex.

I haven't done it for a good two weeks cos of the competition that's coming up this weekend.

I've read somewhere that women tho should have sex before major competitions. This will make them more relaxed and less PMSy so that they can do well on competition.

Well the wife said she doesn't like it whe I blog cos I write bad things about her.

For some reason my buddy was talking about American Pie w/one of our students...Do I the host father stop the conversation about masturbating in a Pie? Do I join in the conversation and educate the students?

So this morning about 2am our phone rang. The phone is on my wife's side of the bed.

In my groggy state I asked my wife to p/u the phone cos it was closest to my wife. She said "Let it ring, it'll stop."

So it rang and rang and rang and rang, I got up from the bed walked around the bed and hit the speaker phone...it was a darn fax! So I hung up.

The wife said "You know it's gonna call again", I replied "Yup at least two more times."

So it rang again and I asked my wife to just hit the speaker button twice. Do you think she did it? Nope....It rang and rang and rang...SOOOOOO I got out of bed walked around the bed and hit the speaker...This time I left the speaker on the phone on so my wife would hang up....did she hang up? The suspense!!

Nope...the fax beeped and beeped and beeped for a good minute, then it gave up and automatically hung up, then all of a sudden we heard a busy signal sound for about 10 seconds, then we heard an automated operator voice telling us to hang up, then after that a super loud alarm like buzzing sound started to blare out of the speaker phone...I got up and went to the washroom while my wife was still laying in bed.

I came back from the washroom and my wife is still there listing to this loud Buzz buzz buzz buzz. If you guys haven't heard this you should try it at home just call yourself on the cell phone and just hang up the cell phone and you'll know what I'm talking about

So I went to bed while the phone is buzzing away...I asked my wife "Don't you think it's just a little annoying?" She didn't say a word...then I thought this might wake up the Homestays...so I got up from my bed walked around and turned off the speaker phone.

Then the phone rang yet again!!! So this time I was pissed...I got up went to our fax machine and recieved the fax.

It was a fax from the Royal Bank! Some poor guy is trying get a mortgage and is being rejected. I got his T4 , his Mortgage Checklist, Mortgage number, SIN number, SRF Number whatever that is. Don't laugh but the guy makes over 42K working in a Vietnamese restraunt...

I'm gonna hafta let the guy know he's not gettting his mortgage cos a verbal verification for income revealed he so no longer employed with the employer.

So I went back to bed letting my wife know who was trying to fax to our house...She just turned around and tried to go back to sleep...

I'm like if she can sleep though this she's gonna sleep though the baby's cry and I'll be the one feeding the baby, and I'm the one who should be taking the Parental leave.

I can't wait...it's sooo predictable.

I'm not racists or anything...well maybe I am...I hate all race just the same would that make me a racist?

I think every culture has it's bad points and stereotypes we hear are mostly true for all races.

Chinese drivers are shitty drivers, East Indians smells, white people are too picky, ect...ect...

So we have new renters, and the old ones are moving out today.

My cell phone for first two weeks were nonstop rining, I think my battery is dead cos it doesn't hold the charge as long as before.

Our old tenants were great!...I hope for the same for these new ones.


My dad had some tenants from hell before and he ruin the whole house, holes everywhere!! But my dad has a bad sense of people, all he cares about is to collect rent...if you pay good...if you don't get the #$@ out!

Our new tenents are African American or Canadian....I think Black people here in Vancouver are cool unlike in some areas.

One thing I don't like doing to good tenants is to collect rent. Sometimes I feel bad cos they're taking care of our place and they're paying us. But we gotta do what we gotta do I guess...

Well my wife and I just signed up for some pregnancy classes....Pretty expensive.

At least we get one class free, and I'm really looking forward to that class...yup you guessed it!!

It's the breastfeeding class. Three hours of boobies everywhere....wait....People there haven't given birth yet...Shit!

Fake babies and fake boobies? Aw man I betcha I'm the only husband that had just figured that out and most of the other men who are taking the course are in for a big disapointment.

Dragon boating practices are getting harder and harder cos of the competition coming up in about three weeks.

I know it's comin up soon cos of the chinese foods that are avaliable during dboating season.

I know I should stay home w/my moody wife and help her out w/the house work...but how else am I gonna get some exercise?

Coach said something about me...he said " Check out Mike...he's got good form and is catching the water, even tho he doesn't goto the gym that often."

In another word..."He's pretty good for a FAT GUY!"

Remember...I hear what you say...but I know what you are thinkin.

One more thing...I remember asking George if a woman is pregnant will she get PMS...Thinkin cos George teaches Bio in High School that he would know the answer...If it's not PMS it sure feels like it.

Well I saw the coolest thing...an ultrasound of our baby...and I saw it scratching it's back.

Some times it feels like forever that my wife's been pregnant. But it could just be that it feels that way cos of the mood swings.

During this time is where men hafta be very patient w/their partners. This is the ultimate test of true love, cos of the chemical imbalances in the woman's system when they're pregnant.

Sometimes I think the real reason why it is so painful to give birth is that it straighten out the woman logic that they all have. Cos if it wasn't the pain I don't think they would care or take care of the baby as much.

Everytime the baby cries at night who would be the one feeding the baby at 2am? I would think it would be the men if it wasn't the pain.

Why do I think that way? Man's logic will be..." Feed the baby and the baby will be quite." And I think woman logic whould be..." The baby will eventually stop crying after a hour of crying...why should I get up and feed the baby? I might as well continue to sleep."

Thank God the birth pain kicks in...If it hurts that much to give birth, well feeding the baby is not as painful to do, and I might as well do it cos I paid the price for giving birth.

But the tables can turn on us men too..."Heck, if it took soo much pain to give birth, the least that our husbands can do is to feed the baby at 2am."

Women logic...us men never win.

It seems that I need holidays for holidays.

Last long weekend was anything but relaxing. Saturday morning, Garage sale in front of our yard. I had to carry boxes and boxes of stuff from upstairs to the out side yard. Mostly my wife's frabric.

Then in the afternoon I went to a Dragon boat practice, coach said it will be a tough one. Yup it was a tough one almost 45 minutes of non stop paddling, and not easy paddling but 70% - 90% pieces.

Then that night went to Kung Fu...man teaching kids is even harder than learning...After that night I just wanted to drop dead and sleep....for Monday...

Yesterday I worked another 17hr shift...we made enuff overtime to get a whole week off.

You see if we work on a Stat Holiday we get triple time, then after 7.5 hrs quadrouple time!!! We were there for 16hrs! And I didn't get home til about 2am.

Now I need a holiday break!

So my co worker said he saw one of my buddies playing volleyball yesterday.

I'm like..."Wich friend?"...He's like "You know your asian friend."

Yup my co worker was white. " Are you sure it's just another Asain? You know you get confused when you see a ton of Azn ppl, esp playing volley ball."

What's w/Azn ppl and net sports? ie Badmonton, Volleyball, Tenis, and Ping Pong?

I've had several Wheel Barrel BBQ's tho...It was back in those days where my buddies felt like having a BBQ and I didn't have one...so we threw some charcoals in a wheel barrel and threw on some flatten tomato cages and we made chicken wings and burgers....Good times....

Whatever works...It was sooo fun I had a couple of them at my place...I feel like just buying a wheel barrel just to bbq at my new place.

But I'm still clueless on who this person is...

Well yesterday we went to a fancy smancy place called the Fish House on Stanley Park. While we were ordering and eating there, we were watching the people there.

It must be nice to be rich...all we could think of is "Holy Crap this fish is expensive, I rather goto AYCE Sushi." But it was nice, very good food.

Our waitress was, well I thought was a man w/long hair.

We could hear here saying to the customers everything that they had ordered..."Nice choice, that is very delicious. Nice choice, very delicious."

So when she got to our table she said the same, so I asked her "So...what isn't delicious here?"

I had stumped her, it took her a few seconds of turning the cogs in her spider filled brains before she answered me, "Well those are my preferences too."

The food was really good, we ordered Fresh Muscles for an appy and I had the Halibut and my wife had the Sablefish, both very very tasty.

After dinner we enjoyed our nite walking around the sea wall. Good times! But I would of prefered sushi.

Yesterday night my wife asked me where do we wanna go out for tonight?

I said "I gotta go dragon boating"...but that was the WONG Answer...cos today is our anniversary.

Why do men never remember important dates? I'll tell you why...cos we have so much to worry about...work, work, work, friends, other things...But thanks to wives, they fill the sensitive side of our brains and let us remember the real important things in life.

Three years we've been married but 13 years we've been together...Why don't celebrity marriages never work? Cos they're too rich and wanna have sex with other celebrity.

Wow we've been married for three years and I still love my wife like we had just met.

So we're renting our place...I'm getting tons a phone calls everyday...starting to get sick of answering them.

Well after two weeks putting up the for rent sign up our front porch...this is it... Today will be the last day of out showing of the house....

We have a couple of ppl in mind to rent to. But before that I had to go though a ton of ppl.

Most caucasins they loved the house and would rent it right away...but had bad security checks...Azn people...I would not even bother giving them the time of day...I know they're all too cheap and would want a deal for the rent.

Vietnamese ppl who are interested in the house and are willing to pay for it...I'm a bit weary...cos our old place we bought was a Pot House...Yup they were planting weed. Wait....Hmmmm...Nmvd.

There will be disapointed ppl...and there will be happy ppl when I call them tonight letting them know they got the place for rent.

The only advertisement I paid for was a seven dollar sign, which my wife at first did not want to get cos it was too big. I had to put my foot on the ground and bought it!

I'm the man of the house...when the wife is not at home.

So during the wedding rehersal, I was standing on the podium next to the best man, and he was standing next to the groom.

Then I saw the bridesmaid walking down the isle, I said the the bestman..."I hope this one is yours..."

Not to be mean or anything...but your wedding pictures are forever. I guess picking ugly brides maids will make you look better...BUT what what if your fugly friend ask you to be their brides maid? Then she'll be really screwed.
I guess you just hope that they don't get married.

My wife swapped brides maids...I'm not saying why...cos I could get in trouble...and I think she had made a good choice.

So as she was walking down the isle...the preacher asked me to kindly pick up my bridesmaid...I was like...Shit...I forgot I'm not the best man.

That was hilarious...but I do have a Chinese friend who listens to Country Music. Don't get me wrong he's not that white washed at all...he just likes to listen to Country Music.

I personally think the Devil created country music for the white folks...and it's...it's...slowly spreading the the Chinese comunity?

Now I listen to music...R&B, Pop, and Chinese...but I stay away from Country...The closest to country I get is Lion Dancing.
