Happy New Year!!! Really It's the lunar new year of the Dog.And to all the non chinese people out there this picture is a LION not a DRAGON...it's a LION!!!
A dragon is longer and is usally performed by 10-12 people where is a Lion is performed usually by 2 people.
It's like dragon boating we don't row...we PADDLE!!
And when people ask me what I'm doin new years I say Lion Dancing....And they say...so do you put on your cowboy boots and hat and have great time?
LION Dancing not LINE Dancing...oh wait...It's Dragon Dacning...Then they understand...Sigh...
Anyways I really enjoy doing this it's the most fun next to dragonboating...All the white ppl oooing and awing...
