Ok this pisses me off...I was watching the news and they're thinking of taxing bottle water cos water levels are getting low due to climate change.
DUE TO CLIMATE CHANGE???? WTF??? I thought global warming was melting the ice in the Artic and is causing problems with higher water levels.

yes the ice is melting but it is contributing to the ocean conveyor and fresh water mixing with salty ocean water slows down the current and makes MORE ice melt.
you seem to think that we can drink this water but you are mistaken and ill-informed. the results are more flood-prone areas and some islands may disappear altogether.
while we may have lots of salt water, it is FRESH water that is disappearing, due to GHG emissions and general wastage, particularly the united states. worst country ever.
i wouldn't be surprised if half of america can't even spell recycle, least of all actually DO it.
